Sevo Nutraceuticals Welcomes Chief Marketing Officer
Also Announces Initial Board of Directors
Waltham, MA – August 2, 2012 – Sevo Nutraceuticals, Inc., today announced that Steve
Swenson has joined the company as its Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Mr.
Swenson has extensive consumer brand marketing experience and over ten years of proven
success in nutraceutical marketing. He recently served as Senior Marketing Director of
Estroven® at Amerifit Brands, Inc., now i-Health, Inc. – a division of DSM Nutritional Products.
In addition, Mr. Swenson helped drive double digit growth at both LEGO Systems, Inc. and
Stanley Black and Decker in marketing leadership roles.

In addition, Sevo Nutraceuticals announced its initial Board of Directors:
- Bernie Prusaczyk is CEO of Sevo Nutraceuticals, Inc. and CEO of Atlantic VIC, LLC,
a technology venture development company and parent of Sevo Nutraceuticals. He
has over 25 years of leadership experience and has been involved with several
successful startup entities.
- Calvin Goforth is Chairman and CEO of Virtual Incubation Company (VIC), LLC,
sister company of Atlantic VIC. VIC has formed over a dozen companies based on
technologies licensed from leading universities and research institutions in the US.
- Arnie Scott served over 30 years at MFS Investment Management before retiring as
EVP in 2001. He is active in the Boston area angel investment community and
currently serves as Vice Chairman and Director of First Commons Bank, NA.
- Steve Wishner is Managing Director of Exigent, LLC, a Boston boutique turnaround
management and growth strategy firm. Previously he was SVP of Finance, Strategy
and Business Development of Charming Shoppes. He also served as VP of Finance
and Treasurer of The TJX Companies, Inc.
- Joseph DiPietro is an IBM InfoSphere Guardium & Optim Data Governance Center
of Excellence Leader, with more than 25 years leadership experience. Prior to IBM
& Guardium, Mr. DiPietro worked at security pioneer Check Point Software in 1996
through 2004 in a variety of leadership roles. The company successfully executed
an IPO, growing revenues from $32 million in 1996, to $500+ million in 2004.
